Day 5 - Memoirs

I've been trying out different applications with my IMac and I discovered iMovie! Lurrrveeee it!
To put my skills to the test; had been pulling some videos for myself.

Looking back 2010, how time flies...
Can you believe that it's almost Sept!?!?! It's scary... Someone told me yesterday when we were in a cab... "As we get older; time seems to fly past even faster..."
Hahaha....

Guess that is why people always says "Enjoy the Moment!"

Day 4 - Representation

Day 4 - Representation, originally uploaded by DevilProject.

At work today, I received 2 bags of beers - 12 bottles...
The first impression I got was; "Oh my... Do I have such a drinker status with my business partners in the industry?"

Hahaha...

It is amusing. Not that it bothers me; I really do love to drink (But I don't do beer though). Drinking is a great pleasure; especially with great company and great food. I especially love it when I do this with my family. Oh boy isn't it great that my whole family drinks? That allows for me to drink from a very young age; and the volume doesn't matter. That said, I've been trained to drink well too. (Very proud)

Hee hee...

Talking about a wonderful friday.

Day 3 - Simple Happiness

Life can be very simple.

I went to church on Sunday and thanked God for giving me many leads to simple happiness.

Amongst which one of my greatest happiness is the inclusion of Xiaobai into my family. XIaobai is my 30th birthday gift to myself and he's such a darling... A maltese of taiwanese parentage and always so warm & cuddly to all...

Thank you for the simple happiness...

This is bought from Hong Kong at around S$150, and weighs nearly 7kg...
But it's a beautiful set!

It was spring 2010 when I made a trip to Hong Kong & Macau with my parents.
That was when I got to know about Jim Sir, 詹瑞文.

With the surprized find; I bought 6 DVDs on the Hong Kong plays!
Jim Sir is so passionate about acting. You can feel it from his plays. I was very touched.
His plays are not just for simple laughs. He's concerned about delivering a deeper message to his audience.

I hope that I'll be able to see his live show very soon in Hong Kong.

Day 2 - Friday the 13th

Day 2 - Friday the 13th, originally uploaded by DevilProject.

All my life, I've never been a fan of Friday the 13th.
I hated this day... And I dragged the coming of this day.
If possible; I'll try to minimize opportunity of occurrence by getting home as soon as I can (If it's a work day) or stay at home totally. (If it's a weekend)

I admit.
I'm a scared-bag.

And yesterday was Friday the 13th!
To add on to that; it was in the 7th month of the lunar calendar! 华人的七月-鬼月...

Had an interesting love-hate day where the whole part of the day was great at work and I've accomplished all my to-do-list by late afternoon. But it wrapped work day with a bad meeting. Then I headed off to a very nice AsiaOne event @ Iluma; this club called Seven or others might know it as Se7en too.

Iluma is situated at 201 Victoria Street Singapore 188067 (Opens 10am to 10pm daily).
Seven / Se7en is located at the 7th floor of Iluma.

And you should also check the interesting club's music & scene.
Regular DJ spinning & a youth, energetic crowd...
Their drinks are good too.

I had a great time at the AsiaOne party!
They were a great host and met lots of people from the industry. We were given 5 tokens each to participate in their games and I won myself a 16GB wifi IPad!!! Lucky!

Great party! Free booze! Free food! Variety of games! Attractive prizes!
What more can I ask for?

But that said; this will be an unforgetable Friday, the 13th that I shall not say.
Someone would also think the same. Haha... The 2 hrs spent in the ladies. Enough-said.

Happy winner of a 16BG wifi Apple IPad
A happy winner of an IPad!

ORIHARA Liquor Shop & Bar @Robertson Walk

Original Oden Soup!, originally uploaded by DevilProject.

Someone brought me to this stand-up japanese sake bar @ Robertson Walk and I love it immediately.
It is a cozy little corner shop right next to the taxi area @ Robertson Walk (11 Unity Street)

One of their best small snack is this original oden soup!
Oiishi ne!!!

They also have these smoked sardines; which actually goes very well with sake.

Smoked Sardines

They have very warm customer service and they can all speak japanese.
In fact, I find it so amusing that the staff at the bar were being featured in their own customized shop poster! Hahaha.....

And this was a very very interesting observation.
I've been to this bar twice; and twice I noticed that so long as the customers are standing by the bar; they must and they will have 1 foot up on the ledge.

Hahahaha...
Even I realized that I did the same unknowingly...
It was just a very naturally body reaction as you stood by the bar.

Day 1 - Inspiration

Day 1 - Inspiration, originally uploaded by DevilProject.

It was this very video that I caught last night....
That got me thinking for the whole day today. It was a refreshing inspiration.

This video was posted on vimeo more than 6 months ago... I was just doing the usual trivial surfing and chanced upon this ad on a LREC ad unit on some recipe site.

I thought that I'm going to start writing a short post every day; and to capture a visual that best describes my feeling for that day. 12th Aug 2010 marks Day 1.
(And tomorrow is Friday the 13th - which I hate...)

This video inspires me to want to do more for 2011.
It inspires me to want to learn more about technology.
It made me lusting for potato chips (Which I ate today)
And because of the chips I want to pair them with wine (Yes.. weird but I did)

And it got me blogging again :)
Hot Salsa!

Enjoy the wonderful adventurous video!
